Bharucha Residence - Tucson, Arizona (1987-88)
A house of burnt adobe for a Zoroastrian family, built around an octagonal courtyard. The design makes use of decorative brick and clay tile details, to relate the house to its natural setting and to the culture of the owners.
Received the Honor Award from the International Symposium on Desert Architecture, American Institute of Architects and the University of Arizona, 1991
